The Environmental Fluid Mechanics group blends hydraulics and biology to gain a mechanistic understanding of physical-biological couplings in flow and transport processes, both in laboratory settings and in real-world systems. We focus on hydro- and hemodynamic turbulence, on environmental transport processes, and on flow-organism interactions.
