Volume of stemwood with bark of all trees and shrubs starting at 12 cm dbh removed from the forest due to damage occurring (e.g. windthrow, avalanches, insects or rockfall), and not as the result of management planning. This feature is derived on the level of a sample plot from the cuttings of the sample trees and the salvage cut proportion (according to information from the forester). The correction for bias with the sample Tarif trees may be so drastic that it results in negative values with small numbers of trees.
