Amount of dead wood

Wood volume of all deadwood recorded according to the NFI3 method. For standing trees and shrubs starting at 12 cm dbh, the volume of stemwood reduced due to stem breakage is recorded, and for lying deadwood the merchantable wood ( starting at 7 cm in diameter). Heaps of branches are not included. The correction for bias with the sample Tarif trees may be so drastic that it results in negative values with small numbers of trees.
